Great news everyone! As you can read on pitfire.net, Car Drive Anthem got signed by SUMS Records. The debut album will be out in summer 2009. By the way, there’s a nice clip they posted on their myspace site.

Hope you guys have all started well into 2009. We were pretty busy as usual and finished some of the latest projects we’ve been working on.

Switzerland’s Solid Ground gave their best at the Traintown Studio to close the bands career with a farewell EP that is now available for download at the following myspace site:

Go and download their amazing farewell songs now! By the way, the songs will be available as EP CD through Let It Burn Records. Although Solid Ground has come to it’s end the members are pretty active right now. Roman and Martin already started recordings here at the studio for an upcoming project-band. Thinking about this, I have to say we feel pretty honored about the fact that Solid Ground has chosen us to be the right facility to end their crusade. Even better is, that we got trusted to be part of the birth of their new project!

Talking about new bands, it’s time to mention Car Drive Anthem! Car Drive Anthem is a post-hardcore band risen out of the ashes of bands like Dying In Motion and Moment Of Despair and just finished work here. After the recording sessions we just finished mixing and mastering of their 10 Song LP and got the amazing news, that the band is already discussing details of a label deal. Crazy!

Fall Apart will have their long awaited 7Inch release show. Well, they gonna have two of ‘em. You can catch this amazing band live on the 24th of October in Winterthur/Switzerland at the GGS31 Squat (Also playing: Solid Ground, Deadverse) or at the 25th at the Tap Tab Club in Schaffhausen (Also playing: Seed Of Pain). By the way, Fall Apart’s record is being released by Fields Of Hope Records.
Seed Of Pain actually just had their 7Inch release show at the sold out (!) Sedel Club in Luzern and they will be touring quite a lot. So you gonna have some chances to see their amazing live appearance.
Rain Of Arrows will not yet release the CD, but something else this Saturday at the I45 Club in good old Traintown (Zug, Switzerland). Beside ROA there will be Switchback and Requiem For Sirens be playing. So all you metal heads, be there!
And make the fuck sure to tune in at radio 3fach tonight from 7pm to 21pm.

For once we’re going to be on air instead of “dead editing” our output. The Traintown Studio has got invited to Pamir at Radio 3Fach by Samuel Savenberg for a little chat and some hardcore. No big news but still something to say. Slow Drive moved in last Friday to record their debut full-length. We’re talking about 12 stoner rock-a-like songs. Very cool stuff and we’re pretty happy to have the guys back in the studio. The drums are tracked, guitars are up to come.

We started yesterday to work with Milo of Five Days Rain and he’s doing a great job so far. We expect to finish their recordings by the end of this month so stay tuned and log in to their MySpace site at www.myspace.com/5daysrain.

Bridge To Solace got a little delayed in terms of mixing. But their stuff is right now in the pipeline and we’re pretty excited about the outcome.

Welcome to our new Traintown Studio website. As the studio went trough a lot of changes in the last two years we decided to give our website a face lift. Well, it’s actually more than a facelift since you’ll find more detailed information and pictures about the studio, the people behind the curtains and also our clients.
Did you noticed, that your reading in english at the moment? Of course you did! Every now and then we get in contact with clients that reside outside the german speaking areas of Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Even here in Switzerland we have a lot people not speaking German that are interested in our blog and the studio. We make bands be heard, now it’s time to make us to be understanded. Aight everybody.

Die Hellvetica Songs wurden durch Andreas Balaskas in den Masterlab Studios Deutschland gemastert. Checkt die Webpage oder Myspace Seite der Band für weitere Infos.

Bridge To Solace hat am vergangenen Sonntag zu Gang-Shouts eingeladen, bei welchen unteranderem Martin von Solid Ground, Fedi von Cataract und Fabio von Dark Day Dungeon vertreten waren. Die Band hat das Studio mittlerweile verlassen und wir machen uns noch an die letzten Arbeiten vor dem Mixdown. Der Mixdown wird in Kanada durch Blair Calibaba (Nomeansno, Propaghandi, Trial, Sum41) getätigt und wir sind schon sehr gespannt auf das Endresultat.

Für 2008 stehen noch einige interessante Projekte an. Unteranderem werden wir noch mit Slowdrive, Solid Ground, Man At Arms arbeiten. Die Songs von Five Days Rain werden nach den Sommerferien auch noch mit Gesang versehen.

Ausserdem hoffen wir, dass in den nächsten Tagen unsere neue Website online geht. Wir werden unserem Webmaster noch etwas Dampf machen und checkt also bald wieder ein!

Und schon sind die vier Songs fürs Mastering bereit. Wir blicken auf eine kurze, intensive aber äusserst speditive Produktionszeit mit den Jungs von Hellvetica zurück. Durch die angenehme Zusammenarbeit und das Engagement der Band war das Projekt die reinste Freude für uns. Die Testmasters sollten schon bald zurück sein und wir sind gespannt wer nun den Mastering Auftrag der Band erhalten wird.

Wir haben letzte Woche mit zwei neuen Projekten gestartet. Five Days Rain sind schon dabei Ihre Gitarren auf die sieben Songs zu nageln während Hellvetica soeben das Schlagzeug zu vier Songs fertig eingespielt hat.
Wir halten uns kurz mit Infos, da wir zur Zeit auch an einer neuen Version unserer Homepage arbeiten. Bleibt am Ball!
